Our Inaugural Community of Practice Gathering – Sun., Jan. 18
Greetings, friends.
What will the communities of the future look like? What will they feel like? If you were seeking an answer to this question, how would you go about that discovery process? Do you think it is possible to know answers to questions like this one?

We – Jane and Marga – not only know it is possible to receive instruction around questions like these, we also sense that the leaders of these future communities will have developed this skill and will use it daily in service to their people.
Author and grief guide, Francis Weller, illustrates how important this skill is, especially during transitional times like the ones we are living through now:
"As we descend ever farther into the collective unknown, into the underworld, we are called to remember the disciplines of soul that may enable us to navigate through what I have come to call the Long Dark. Primary among these disciplines is the practice of deep listening, which acknowledges the wisdom in others and in the dreaming Earth. When we listen deeply, we begin to uncover what wants to be brought into awareness. We become receptive and permeable to sources of wisdom that lie beyond the purely human. Listening is the art of reverence. The Inuit living north of the Arctic Circle have a word in their language, qarrtsiluni, which translates 'Sitting together in the darkness, waiting for something to happen or burst forth.' This expectant attitude is rich with deep listening, aching to hear the song that will provide for the village."
